The Ministry of Heavy Industries (MHI) is hiring a Consultant Grade I in its technical stream for specific tasks in the Heavy Engineering and Machine Tools Section. • Medical benefits: the ministry does not provide medical benefits during the consultancy. This is an explicit condition of the engagement and should be considered when you assess the overall terms.
• Administrative framework: MHI’s administrative guidelines dated 27 August 2024 govern extensions and other conditions that the advertisement does not explain separately. The notice refers back to those guidelines for the terms of the engagement.
• Retired government officers: the notice provides a separate route for officers from relevant technical divisions. If you apply through that route, the Department of Expenditure rules cited in the notification govern the applicable engagement terms; check that route separately from the standard consultant terms.
