EIL Associate Engineer Recruitment 2026: Overview

Engineers India Limited (EIL) is hiring Associate Engineers on fixed-term contracts for project controls, planning and scheduling. The work connects engineering-office planning with construction-site execution in oil and gas, fertiliser and power projects. This is a project delivery assignment, with deployment shaped by the company’s requirements.

Posts and Disciplines

  • Associate Engineer Grade II, Position A: A planning role covering engineering and field-office activities. The recruitment portal identifies this position as Associate Engineer Gr II-Z13.
  • Associate Engineer Grade III, Position B: The higher experience grade in the same project controls and scheduling stream. The portal identifies it as Associate Engineer Gr III-Z14.
  • Shared work area: Both grades cover planning across engineering, procurement, logistics, site installation and construction. The notice gives them a common work profile rather than separate duty descriptions.

Service Conditions and Caveats

  • Contract period: The initial engagement is for three years, as applicable. It ends automatically when that period finishes, unless EIL ends it earlier.
  • Appointment status: Working under this contract does not give you a claim to a regular appointment in EIL. Keep this condition in mind when considering a move from your current job.
  • Deployment: EIL may place you in the National Capital Region or at construction sites across the country. The notice also allows assignments abroad when the company needs them.

  • Reporting arrangements: The listed centres are EIL offices in Gurugram, Bengaluru, Kolkata and Mumbai, with reporting at 08:00 AM. Your registered email will carry the exact date, time and venue.
  • Allow enough time: Interviews may continue until 08:00 PM and, if needed, into the following day. Make your own stay arrangements for that possibility.

You need BE/BTech/BSc (Engineering) in Civil, Mechanical, Industrial or Production Engineering with at least 60% or equivalent CGPI. Grade II needs at least 5 years of relevant experience and Grade III needs 9 years, counted as on 31 August 2026.

Register online for one grade using EIL’s Grade II form or Grade III form. Bring 6 printed copies with photographs and the required originals and self-attested copies to the walk-in. You do not need to send a postal application.

Your monthly consolidated pay depends on your grade and city category: Rs. 72,000-80,000 for Grade II and Rs. 86,400-96,000 for Grade III. These amounts include HRA and PF.

EIL will check your application and certificates before a personal interview. You must also be found medically fit before joining.
