BMRCL Assistant Security Officer Recruitment 2026: Overview
Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) is hiring Assistant Security Officers on contract for its Operation & Maintenance Wing in Bengaluru. The work concerns security and related activities at metro stations and depots. BMRCL is a joint venture of the Government of India and Government of Karnataka, responsible for implementing, operating and maintaining the city's metro rail system.
This drive is for external applicants with the service background specified in the notice. If you are considering the role, keep in mind that it is a contract engagement within an operating metro network.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Contract tenure: The initial engagement lasts three years for the younger age band and one year for the older age band described in the notice. Extension depends on your performance and BMRCL's requirements; it is not automatic.
- Ending the contract: Either side can end the appointment by giving the applicable notice. The longer-tenure group has a three-month notice requirement, while the shorter-tenure group has a one-month requirement.
- Recruitment changes: BMRCL can change the number of openings or cancel them during recruitment. Its decision on these changes is final.
- Travel and attendance: You must attend the recruitment process at your own cost. The company does not accept responsibility for injury, damage or loss during recruitment or travel connected with it.
- Accurate information: False records, hidden facts or impersonation can lead to rejection or termination. Canvassing or using outside influence can also disqualify you.
- Communication: Keep your personal email address and mobile number active. BMRCL will use email or SMS to tell shortlisted applicants the relevant time and venue.
- Online access: BMRCL does not take responsibility for network interruptions or other technical problems when you apply.
