Andhra University (AU) is offering Centenary Post Doctoral Fellowships across its constituent colleges and departments in Visakhapatnam. The scheme supports full-time research in engineering, sciences, humanities and law, with a mentor or guide identified by the university.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Tenure: You initially join for one year. A university committee may recommend another year based on your performance, taking the total tenure to two years.
• University-based award: The fellowship is non-transferable and can be held only at Andhra University, within its academic departments or research and development centres.
• Exclusive commitment: You cannot receive another fellowship or salary during this engagement. Taking up another full-time or part-time assignment leads to discontinuation of the award.
• Existing employment: Applicants in regular employment will not be considered. Researchers in temporary academic or research roles must relinquish those roles on lien if selected.
• Research ownership: Intellectual property arising from your work is held in the names of Andhra University, you and any co-authors.
• Research support: The scheme does not allow you to recruit research personnel. Contingency spending is reimbursed against bills and university approval.
• Leaving the fellowship: You must complete the university’s handover and no-dues formalities before receiving a relieving certificate.
• Attendance expenses: The university does not reimburse travel, daily allowance or other expenses for attending the interview.
• University discretion: AU may revise the terms through its website and reserves the right to cancel the recruitment at any stage.
