APPSC Lecturer DIET SCERT 2026 — 160 Vacancies

APPSC Lecturer DIET SCERT Recruitment 2026: Overview

Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has issued a brief notice for regular lecturer recruitment in the A.P. School Education Services. The general recruitment brings together senior lecturer and lecturer roles in DIET institutions and lecturer roles in SCERT. This is an advance announcement, with a detailed notification still to follow, so you should treat it as an introduction to the recruitment rather than the complete set of conditions.

Posts and Disciplines

• Senior Lecturer DIET: The senior lecturer category belongs to DIET within the state School Education Service. It has a separate post code in the brief notice.
• Lecturer SCERT: This lecturer category is attached to SCERT and is listed separately from the DIET roles under the same recruitment.
• Lecturer DIET: This is the DIET lecturer category, distinct from the senior lecturer role. All these roles share the same brief notification.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Provisional announcement: The department still has to confirm the advertised staffing position. APPSC says the announced openings may change after that confirmation, so the brief notice does not fix the final allocation.
• Detailed conditions: The commission will publish a fuller notification and instructions on its website. You should read that document before applying, because this brief notice leaves post-specific details for the later announcement.
• Reference notification: APPSC says the date of its detailed notification will be the crucial reference for this recruitment. Keep that distinction in mind when comparing the brief announcement with the final conditions.
• Submission restriction: APPSC will accept applications only through its prescribed online route. Sending an application through another mode will not be accepted, even though the recruitment has already been announced.
