AIIMS Jodhpur Project Nurse III Recruitment 2026: Overview
All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Jodhpur is recruiting a Project Nurse III for an extramural research project in its Department of Neonatology. The study compares physiological cord clamping after placental delivery with a one-minute delayed-clamping approach and looks at neurodevelopment among infants born vaginally at or beyond 35 weeks of pregnancy. It is an Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR)-funded trial led locally by Dr. Neeraj Gupta, Professor and Head of Neonatology; although the project has four sites, this recruitment is for Jodhpur alone.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Project appointment: You will join on a temporary contractual basis linked to the project. The engagement gives no claim to a permanent AIIMS job or a position in another project.
- Initial engagement: The first appointment is for six months. Further extensions may run for three to six months at a time, depending on your work performance.
- Project window: The notice describes a seven-month project tenure for the nurse position, connected with recruiting infants at birth. Any continuation remains tied to the project.
- Working hours: You should be ready for flexible hours, as the notice specifically makes this a condition of the role.
- Travel expenses: AIIMS will not pay travel or daily allowances for attending the interview.
- Conduct: Canvassing can lead to disqualification, so keep communication within the recruitment process.
