ACTREC Scientific Officer Bioinformatics Recruitment 2026: Overview
Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC) is recruiting a Scientific Officer in Bioinformatics for its Department of Hematopathology and Cytogenetics at Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. ACTREC is part of Tata Memorial Centre and is a grant-in-aid institute under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India. The notice offers a contract engagement with a choice of walk-in or Zoom interview, so you can use the route appropriate to your circumstances.

Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology or a related field; M.Sc. or M.Tech in these fields is also accepted at a lower grade.

One year of next-generation sequencing data analytics experience and experience in cancer bioinformatics are desirable.

Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Python, and in human genome sequencing.
