SRHCH Senior Resident Recruitment 2026: Overview

Satyawadi Raja Harish Chandra Hospital (SRHCH) is recruiting Senior Residents for its departments in Narela, Delhi, under the Government of NCT of Delhi. This is an ad-hoc residency engagement under the government residency scheme, with continuation governed by the conditions in the notice. The hospital has a continuing weekday walk-in arrangement, and recruitment can close as the departments fill their posts.

Posts and Disciplines

• Anaesthesia: Senior Resident engagement in the hospital's anaesthesia department.
• Radiology: Senior Resident engagement in the hospital's radiology department.
• Orthopaedics: Senior Resident engagement in the hospital's orthopaedics department.
• Obstetrics and Gynaecology: Senior Resident engagement in the hospital's obstetrics and gynaecology department.
• Surgery: Senior Resident engagement in the hospital's surgery department.
• Pathology: Senior Resident engagement in the hospital's pathology department.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Initial tenure: The engagement lasts 89 days or until a regular appointee joins, whichever comes first. Satisfactory service can lead to extensions up to a maximum of 3 years.
• Availability of posts: The hospital may change the number of openings. Its first-come arrangement remains subject to merit, so a later visit does not guarantee that your department still has an opening.
• Relaxed-norms list: Fresh candidates receive priority. The hospital considers the separate list of doctors who have already completed Senior Residency only after the fresh-candidate list is exhausted.
• Second-list tenure: An appointment from the relaxed-norms list lasts 1 year and cannot be renewed afterwards.
• Joining: You must join immediately or within 7 days of the offer letter. Missing that limit automatically cancels the offer.
• Hostel: You may request accommodation, but allotment depends on availability. The hospital makes the applicable deductions from pay if you receive a room.
• Reservation and travel: PwD and EWS reservation follows government rules. No TA/DA is paid for attending.
