SGOU MDDC Director Recruitment 2026

SGOU MDDC Director Recruitment 2026: Overview

Sreenarayanaguru Open University (SGOU) has reopened recruitment for its Material Development and Distribution Centre (MDDC) Director in Kollam. This contract role supports the university's academic content development for Open and Distance Learning (ODL). The centre brings together the design, production and distribution of Self Learning Materials so that these activities fit the university's distance-learning approach.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Nature of engagement: The university is filling the director role on contract. Read the appointment as a contract engagement when considering whether it fits your plans after retirement.
• Existing applicants: If you applied under the earlier notification, you do not need to send a fresh application. SGOU says it will consider the application already received.
• Updating your record: Previous applicants may update their credentials where needed. The reopening therefore allows you to keep an existing application current without applying again.
• Original conditions: The reopening changes the application window while keeping the other conditions of the original notice in place.
• Acceptance of applications: Incomplete applications and those received late will be rejected. The university specifies both an online submission and receipt of the paper application.

Application Submission Notes

The online application must be followed by a paper application sent to the Registrar, Sreenarayanaguru Open University, Kureepuzha, Kollam 691601. Treat the physical submission as a required part of this notice, rather than assuming that the online form completes your application.

Receipt at the university matters for the paper submission. The separate receipt deadline and the evidence to send with your application are recorded in the structured requirements and document fields.
