JIPMER Financial Advisor Recruitment 2026: Overview

Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), an Institution of National Importance under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, is looking for a Financial Advisor at its campus in Puducherry. This is a deputation post, so it is open only to serving officers of Central, State or UT governments, universities, statutory and autonomous bodies, PSUs and R&D organisations — people in private jobs cannot apply. It suits senior finance officers who already hold an analogous post or have put in long regular service at the PB-3 level and want to head the finance side of a large teaching hospital.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Who qualifies: You must hold an analogous post on a regular basis, or have five years of regular service in the PB-3 grade the notice names, and also be a Chartered Accountant or a Commerce/Economics graduate (with accounts and audit as main subjects) who has passed the SAS examination.
• Tenure: The deputation normally runs for three years from the date of appointment and can be extended under DoPT orders in force.
• Service rules: Your terms follow DoPT deputation orders as amended from time to time and JIPMER's own rules and regulations.
• Fresh application needed: If you applied for this post against an earlier advertisement, you must apply again with updated information.
• Clean record: You must not have been convicted by any court, and your employer has to certify your integrity, vigilance clearance and penalty record.
• Right to cancel: JIPMER may cancel or withdraw the vacancy without giving reasons.
