Janpad Panchayat Bakawand in Bastar district, Chhattisgarh, is filling Rozgar Sahayak (Employment Assistant) posts on contract in seven of its gram panchayats. The posts run under the Viksit Bharat Rozgar and Ajeevika Guarantee Mission (Gramin), or VB-G RAM G, following orders from the mission commissioner and the Panchayat and Rural Development Department in Nava Raipur. This is a hyper-local hiring drive: each post is tied to one village panchayat, and only its own residents can be selected for it.

Selection is on merit, with no written test. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Village residency: The selected candidate must be a resident of the same gram panchayat. If no eligible person from a panchayat applies, the post goes on merit to a candidate of the same category from elsewhere in Bakawand block.
• Bastar and Sarguja divisions: The qualification follows a priority order of 12th pass, then 10th pass, then 8th pass, so lower qualifications are considered only when higher ones are not available.
• Category fallbacks: Ex-servicemen and disabled-category posts can go to other categories if no such candidate applies. SC and ST women's posts can go to men of the same category.
• Disability: The post involves field work, so 100% disability is not accepted.
• Tie-break: When two candidates score the same, the older candidate is picked first.
• Family rules: You cannot be appointed if you married below the legal age, married someone whose spouse is alive, or have more than two living children with one born on or after 26 January 2001.
• Contract terms: The engagement is purely temporary for one year (January to December). It may be renewed yearly based on your annual performance appraisal and conduct, and either side can end it with one month's notice or one month's pay.
• No retirement benefits: Contract service carries no pension, gratuity or death benefits.

Attach two 9x4-inch envelopes, each carrying a Rs. 22 postage stamp and your current address. Forms received after 5:30 PM on the closing day will not be considered. If you already work in a government office, send your form through your employer with a No Objection Certificate.
