IIT ISM JRF and Project Assistant Recruitment 2026: Overview

Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad is recruiting project staff for an ESSAR Oil and Gas Ltd sponsored study in the Department of Petroleum Engineering. The research examines deep coal seams in the Raniganj East Block to assess their coal bed methane potential. You would join a project led by Dr. Keka Ojha, with the work centred on understanding borehole samples from the field under study.

Posts and Disciplines

• Junior Research Fellow (JRF): A research role connected to the deep-coal-seam evaluation project. The notice also sets out a possible route to an institute research fellowship.
