Service Conditions and Caveats

• Approved tenure: The contract runs until 31 March 2027. You should plan around that limited tenure when considering the appointment.
• End of engagement: The hospital can discontinue your appointment when it no longer needs the contractual post. Your service also ends if a regular Assistant Professor becomes available through direct recruitment.
• Transfer provision: Although the appointment starts at LTMG Hospital and Medical College, BMC can move you to another municipal medical college according to its requirements.
• Leave: The notice permits only casual leave and special casual leave under the cited municipal circular. Other types of leave are excluded from this contract arrangement.
• Resignation: If you decide to leave, you must give one month's advance notice. Keep that requirement in mind if you are considering another appointment.
• Truthful information: BMC can cancel your candidature if your information or papers are false, if you hide required information, or if you do not meet the stated conditions.
• Recruitment discretion: The Municipal Commissioner may stop the recruitment at any point. Meeting the stated requirements does not guarantee an interview or an appointment, and unsuccessful eligibility checks will not be communicated individually.
