AIIMS Jodhpur Project Research Scientist III Recruitment 2026: Overview

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Jodhpur is hiring a Project Research Scientist III (Non-Medical) for a pulmonary-rehabilitation research project. Supported by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), the project studies an integrated health model for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and pneumoconiosis in Jodhpur. You would join a project-based team in the Department of Community Medicine and Family Medicine, led by Principal Investigator Dr. Pankaja Ravi Raghav.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Initial appointment: The first appointment is for one year. An extension may be considered based on your performance, so continuation beyond the initial term is not automatic.
• Project-linked service: The post ends with the project. This appointment gives you no right to permanent employment at AIIMS Jodhpur or continued service in another project.
• Contract basis: The notice describes the engagement as temporary and contractual for the specified project period. Keep this condition in mind when considering a move from another position.
• Travel arrangements: The institute will not pay travel or daily allowances for attending the interview. You will need to cover your own journey and related expenses.

• Coordinate and supervise the project's research activities and support good clinical practices.
• Recruit study participants and organise implementation and stakeholder training.
• Arrange community health camps with local leaders and sarpanchs.
• Coordinate patient travel to AIIMS Jodhpur and help organise investigations and hospital procedures.
• Support intervention delivery under the study protocol and procurement of study medicines.
• Keep study records, enter data and carry out statistical analysis.
• Prepare reports, manage the project budget and coordinate staff training and imaging investigations.
