BRIC-Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (BRIC-THSTI) is hiring clinical research staff for the Placenta Health Project – Adaptive Dose Finding Platform in India, led by Dr. Nitya Wadhwa. THSTI belongs to the Biotechnology Research and Innovation Council under the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology. These short-term project appointments connect the institute's coordinating centre with participating hospitals in Delhi.

Posts and Disciplines

• Clinical Project Manager: You will be based at THSTI, Faridabad, with regular visits to the participating hospital sites. This role links the study coordination unit, investigators and hospital teams.
• Clinical Research Officer: You will be based at a participating Delhi hospital: All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Guru Teg Bahadur (GTB) Hospital or Lady Hardinge Medical College (LHMC). The role focuses on day-to-day DREAM Trial activity at the hospital site.

Post-wise Duties

Clinical Project Manager

You will lead the study team from start-up through database lock, keeping operations aligned with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and applicable guidance. You will help prepare study plans, operating procedures and consent material, support ethics submissions, and organise training with the site officers.

The manager also oversees site preparation, quality checks and the pharmacokinetic–pharmacodynamic substudy. You will review recruitment progress, protocol deviations and data trends with investigators, data managers and statisticians, while keeping stakeholders informed about risks and progress.

Clinical Research Officer

You will coordinate screening, enrolment, study visits and follow-up at the hospital. Your work includes supervising clinical assessments and sample handling, checking study records, and helping the team resolve missing or inconsistent data.

You will support safety reporting and investigational-product accountability, train site staff and prepare for monitoring visits, audits and inspections. The officer works closely with investigators and the data and quality management teams to keep site activity consistent with the study protocol.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Project-linked appointment: These posts are short term. An extension depends on satisfactory performance and the remaining project tenure; appointment does not create a right to regular employment.
• Workplace distinction: The manager works from the Faridabad coordinating centre and travels to hospital sites, while the officer works at a participating Delhi hospital. Consider this difference when choosing your role.
