IITR Research Associate Recruitment 2026: Overview

Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IITR) is recruiting a Research Associate for a Civil Engineering Department project on ultra-high-performance concrete for building applications. The research concerns the development of this concrete and its design parameters, under principal investigator Prof. Sonalisa Ray.

This is a project-based contractual appointment at IIT Roorkee. The named project gives you the context for the assignment: advanced concrete materials and their use in buildings are the focus of the research.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Project tenure: The appointment runs from your joining date until 18 November 2027. This is the project appointment’s stated end point.
• Preference: If qualifications and experience are equal, the notice gives preference to SC/ST applicants.
• Interview expenses: No travel or daily allowance will be paid for attending the interview. You should account for those costs if called.
