Chandigarh Administration (Chd Admn) is seeking Executive Engineers (Electrical) for the Electrical Wing of its Engineering Department. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Initial tenure: The department proposes an appointment for one year. The normal overall limit is four years, so you should not treat the initial appointment as an assurance of a full four-year stay.
• Earlier deputation: The overall limit includes an immediately preceding deputation or short-term contract in another ex-cadre post within the same or another Central Government organisation or department.
• Release from your current post: Your employer must be able to spare you immediately if you are selected. The forwarding authority confirms this when sending your nomination.
• Withdrawal: Once you apply for this deputation, the department will not allow you to withdraw your candidature later. Consider this condition before asking your employer to forward your papers.
• Promotion and deputation: Departmental officers in the direct promotion line cannot use this deputation route. Deputationists cannot seek appointment through promotion under the same provision.
• Application completeness: The department will reject incomplete applications. Claims about your qualifications and service must have supporting evidence for the department to assess them.
