Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya (UBKV) is engaging a Project Fellow for a contractual research assignment at Pundibari in Cooch Behar, West Bengal. The project, funded by UPL Sustainable Agri Solution Limited, examines the bio-efficacy and phytotoxicity of Glufosinate 50% WG (Harmetry) against the weed complex of tea. You would join the project under Dr. Partha Sarathi Patra, Assistant Professor of Agronomy and Principal Investigator at the Regional Research Station, Terai Zone.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Project-linked tenure: The engagement lasts for one year or until the project finishes, whichever comes first. This means the project’s completion can bring the appointment to an end before the full year is over.
• Nature of appointment: The fellowship is temporary and contractual, with its continuation tied to the project. The notice provides no re-employment after the project ends. Keep this condition in mind when considering the assignment.
• Travel costs: UBKV will not pay travel or daily allowances for attending the interview. You will need to make your own arrangements for reaching Pundibari and attending in person.
