Educational Qualification (post-wise)

• Consultant F (Medical Oncology): MD or DNB in Medical Oncology with at least 1 year of experience
• Consultant E (Surgical Oncology): MS or DNB in General Surgery plus MCh or DNB in Surgical Oncology
• Consultant E (Anaesthesiology): MD or DNB in Anaesthesiology with at least 3 years of experience
• Consultant E (Radiology): MD or DNB in Radiodiagnosis with at least 3 years of experience
• Consultant E (Radiation Oncology): MD or DNB in Radiation Oncology with at least 3 years of experience
• Consultant D (Pathology): MD in Pathology or Onco-Pathology with at least 2 years of experience
• Consultant D (Microbiology): MD in Microbiology with at least 2 years of experience
• Medical Physicist D: MSc in Physics or Medical Physics with at least 2 years of experience
• Scientific Officer C (Chemistry/Biochemistry): MSc in Chemistry or Biochemistry with at least 2 years of experience
• Scientific Officer C (Microbiology/Molecular Biology): MSc in Microbiology or Molecular Biology with at least 2 years of experience
• Scientific Assistant C (Lab Technician): BSc plus DMLT (Diploma in Medical Lab Technology)
• Scientific Assistant B (Physics): BSc in Physics with 1 year of experience, or MSc in Physics

Age Limit

• Consultant F and Consultant E posts (posts 1-2): Maximum 45 years
• Consultant E (posts 3-5) and Consultant D and Medical Physicist D (posts 3-8): Maximum 40 years
• Scientific Officer C posts (posts 9-10): Maximum 35 years
• Scientific Assistant posts (posts 11-13): Maximum 30 years
• Age relaxation is given to SC, ST, OBC, PwBD and Ex-Servicemen candidates as per government rules

Salary

Salary follows the 7th Pay Commission pay scales. You will also get allowances like Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance (TA), and Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA) for medical posts as per government rules.

• Level 6: Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 1,12,400 per month
• Level 7: Rs. 44,900 to Rs. 1,42,400 per month
• Level 10: Rs. 56,100 to Rs. 1,77,500 per month
• Level 11: Rs. 67,700 to Rs. 2,08,700 per month
• Level 12: Rs. 78,800 to Rs. 2,09,200 per month
• Level 13: Rs. 1,23,100 to Rs. 2,15,900 per month

Application Fee

• General and OBC candidates: Rs. 300
• SC, ST, PwBD, Women and Ex-Servicemen: No fee (free)

Selection Process

• Consultant and Medical Physicist posts (posts 1-10): Selection is by Interview only. No written exam.
• Scientific Assistant posts (posts 11-13): Selection is by Written Examination followed by Interview.

• Provide specialist medical or scientific services in the assigned department at HBCHRC Visakhapatnam
• Diagnose, treat and manage cancer patients as per standard medical protocols (for Consultant posts)
• Conduct laboratory tests and analysis as assigned (for Scientific Officer and Scientific Assistant posts)
• Operate and maintain medical equipment including radiation therapy machines (for Medical Physicist and Physics posts)
• Dispense medicines and maintain pharmacy records as per hospital rules (for Pharmacist posts)
• Maintain accurate records of all work done and prepare reports as needed
• Follow all hospital safety protocols and infection control guidelines
• Work with other department teams to provide good patient care
• Participate in research and training activities conducted at the hospital
