• Service records: The form distinguishes regular service from officiating or temporary appointments. A financial upgrade under the Modified Assured Career Progression Scheme does not count as regular service in the higher grade.
• Annexure mismatch: Annexure II is attached as the deputation terms, but its heading names Senior Assistant Secretary. The covering circular and recruitment rules identify the present post; ask the port to clarify this heading mismatch before relying on disputed terms.
• Other service matters: Matters not covered by the deputation terms follow the port’s existing rules and orders. Any relaxation of the stated terms needs the port’s approval.
