R.G. Kar Medical College & Hospital (RGKMCH), under the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of West Bengal, has released Notice No. 23 for 7 Senior Resident (Non Bonded) posts. This is a walk-in interview drive, so there is no online exam and no written test. Doctors who have completed their PG degree in Anaesthesiology, Microbiology, Paediatric Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Ophthalmology, or General Surgery can attend.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You must have passed MD/MS/DNB/DrNB/DM/MCh in the respective subject from a recognised university of India.
• Registration: You need a valid WBMC (West Bengal Medical Council) registration.
• Documents: Keep your MBBS marksheets, degree certificate, internship certificate, attempt/chance certificate, and PG marksheets ready in original and self-attested copies.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 45 years as on the date of appointment.

Salary

• You will be paid as per the Senior Resident (Non Bonded) policy of the Government of West Bengal, Department of Health & Family Welfare.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is based on:

1. Academic Qualification: Your PG marks and academic record are checked.
2. Walk-in Interview: You appear before the interview board on 5 June 2026 at Lecture Theatre 2 of P.J.B, RGKMC.
3. Document Verification: All original documents must be produced before the board.

The decision of the competent authority on selection is final.
