Regional Ayurveda Research Institute (RARI), Lucknow operates under the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS), Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. The institute is hiring 5 Senior Research Fellows in Ayurveda to work on research projects under the Scheduled Caste Sub Plan (SCSP) and Women and Child Health (WCH) programme. Who Can Apply?

Essential Qualification

• Education: You must hold a BAMS degree from a recognised university.
• Age: Your age should not exceed 35 years as on 01 January 2026.

Desirable Qualification (gives you an edge)

• M.D. (Ayurveda) or M.S. (Ayurveda) from a recognised university or institution.
• Experience working on research projects funded by the Ministry of AYUSH, CCRAS, ICMR, CSIR, DST, or similar organisations.
• Skills in drafting, editing, and publishing scientific documents, articles, and technical reports.
• Experience publishing papers in peer-reviewed journals.
• Knowledge of computer applications such as MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 35 years as on 01 January 2026.
• Age Relaxation: SC/ST/OBC candidates get age relaxation as per Central Government rules.

Salary

• You will receive a consolidated fellowship of Rs. 42,000 per month.
• In addition to the fellowship amount, HRA (House Rent Allowance) is also admissible.
• No other allowances like DA or TA are provided with this fellowship.

Selection Process

The selection will be done in 2 stages:

1. Written Examination: All eligible candidates who appear on the walk-in date will first take a written test. The exam will assess your knowledge of Ayurveda and research methodology.
2. Interview: Only those candidates who qualify in the written examination will be called for the personal interview round.

Your final selection will be based on your combined performance in both the written exam and the interview.

2. Fill in the application form completely with all your personal and educational details.
3. Attach self-attested photocopies of all your certificates, mark sheets, caste certificate (if applicable), experience certificates, and character certificate.
4. Carry two recent passport-size photographs.
5. Bring all your original certificates for verification at the interview venue.
6. Reach the Seminar Room of RARI, Lucknow (INS-106, Sector-25, Indira Nagar, Lucknow-226016) by 10:00 AM on 04 April 2026 for registration.
7. Late arrivals beyond the registration time will not be allowed to participate.
