The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is conducting the online application process for 635 Apprentice posts in Punjab & Sind Bank across several States and Union Territories. This is an apprenticeship engagement, not a permanent bank job — it gives you one year of hands-on banking training. Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You must have a regular graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised university or institute (or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Central Government).
• Post Graduates: Candidates with a post-graduate degree are not eligible.
• Experience: If you already have one year or more of work experience, you cannot apply.
• Passing Year: You should not have completed more than five years after passing your qualifying exam.
• Local Language: You must know the local language of the State/UT you apply for — reading, writing, speaking and understanding.

Age Limit

• You should be between 20 and 28 years old.
• Age Relaxation: SC/ST, OBC, PwBD and other reserved categories get relaxation as per government rules. Check the official notification for exact details.

Salary (Stipend)

• You will get a monthly stipend of Rs. 12,300 per month during the apprenticeship.
• The engagement period is 12 months.

Selection Process

Selection is done in the following steps:
