NIT Silchar Project Assistant Recruitment 2026: Overview

National Institute of Technology Silchar (NIT Silchar) is hiring a Project Assistant for a research project in its Department of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering in Assam. The project focuses on portable, biodegradable nano-sensing electrodes for detecting heavy metals in water in the North-Eastern region. This is a project-based contractual engagement under the Integrated Eco-Development Research Programme (IERP), supported by the G. B. Pant National Institute of Himalayan Environment.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Project tenure: Your engagement runs for 12 months or until the project finishes, whichever comes first. The appointment is tied to this research project.
