Responsibilities

  • Provide primary healthcare services to patients at the assigned health centre or sub-centre in Buldhana district
  • Diagnose and treat common illnesses, injuries, and medical conditions in the community
  • Conduct outpatient clinics and refer serious cases to higher facilities when needed
  • Carry out vaccination drives, maternal health checkups, and child health programmes under NHM
  • Maintain accurate medical records, patient registers, and submit health reports to the district health office
  • Participate in national health programmes including TB control, malaria prevention, and family planning
  • Coordinate with ANMs, ASHA workers, and other paramedical staff for community health activities
  • Handle emergency medical situations and provide first aid at the health facility

Experience in rural health services or NHM programmes
