Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad (MNNIT Allahabad) is hiring a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for a contract research role in its Electronics and Communication Engineering department at Prayagraj. The project brings together MNNIT Allahabad and the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT) under the Indo–Sri Lanka Joint Bilateral Science and Technology Programme. Its focus is a secure, bio-safe wireless body area network for healthcare, combining Near Field Magnetic Induction (NFMI), artificial intelligence and blockchain.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Project appointment: Your contract starts with a one-year term. Further extensions depend on a yearly performance review and cannot go beyond the project, which has a two-year duration.
• Service rules: This is a temporary project engagement governed by the funding agency and MNNIT Allahabad's Office of the Dean of Research and Consultancy. The appointment is tied to the research project.
• Accommodation: Institute accommodation may be available, subject to availability and the institute's rules. You should not treat accommodation as a guaranteed part of the offer.
• Other benefits: Annual leave and medical benefits may be available under the rules that apply to project staff. The notice makes these benefits conditional on those rules.
• Doctoral study: The selected fellow may register for a Ph.D. if the institute's academic entry conditions are met. Selection for this project does not by itself establish admission to the Ph.D. programme.
• Institute discretion: The institute may consider people with exceptional credentials without an application and reserves the right to accept applications at any time. It may also relax qualifications or experience for exceptional candidates.
