• Pharmacist: The named locations are Nonglang, Nongstoin, Rambrai, Dongki-ingding, Nongspung, Ranikor, Wahkaji, Khonjoy and Jowai. The Nongstoin assignment is based at Civil Hospital Nongstoin and also serves the District TB Centre there.

Post-wise Duties

Biomedical Associate

You will help facilities improve biomedical waste management, from segregation and collection to treatment and disposal. Field visits will help you spot gaps in hospital practices, record problems and support corrective action. The work also includes checking Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) functioning and supporting assessments for proposed ETP sites.

Your reporting work will connect field observations with digital tracking, including barcode systems, dashboards and waste movement records. You will coordinate with district authorities, treatment facilities, vendors and healthcare teams. Training sessions, technical notes and regular operational reports are also part of the assignment.

Pharmacist

You will review prescriptions, dispense medicines and explain dosage instructions and possible side effects to patients. The role includes following up on medicine-related problems, reporting adverse reactions and working with other healthcare professionals on treatment decisions. Clear communication matters both at the dispensing counter and when a medicine supply problem needs attention.

You will also handle medicine stock and supply records, check incoming supplies and keep track of expiry dates. The terms cover stock checks, medicine forecasts, warehouse coordination and recalls of defective or unsuitable medicines. This combines patient-facing pharmacy work with careful inventory management.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Tenure: The appointment is for two years and is renewable. The notice presents both roles as contractual engagements.
