This opening is advertised through the Centre for Entrepreneurship Development, Madhya Pradesh (CEDMAP) career portal on behalf of Madhav Institute of Technology and Science (MITS), Gwalior - a government-aided autonomous engineering institute founded in 1957 that was recently declared a Deemed to be University by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. The MIIC Centre Head will take strategic oversight of the Innovation and Incubation Centre on the MITS campus in Gwalior, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and adherence to operational guidelines while helping the institute build out its startup and incubation ecosystem. Candidates with leadership experience in a startup or incubation ecosystem are best suited for this role.

The role calls for a mix of strategic leadership, coordination and ecosystem-building skills. You will be responsible for setting up and running the centre's operations, working closely with students, faculty and outside partners who are building or supporting new ventures. Because the centre works with prototyping and intellectual property, a working understanding of IPR and product prototyping - including hands-on exposure to 3D printing - will help you handle the technical side of incubation projects.

Who Can Apply?

• Essential Qualification: Master's degree in Management, Engineering, Technology, Entrepreneurship or Business Administration.
• Technical Qualification: IPR certificate, prototyping and 3D printing knowledge.
• Desirable Qualification: Experience in leadership and strategic planning within an incubation/startup ecosystem, multitasking ability, and knowledge of Madhya Pradesh Government purchase rules.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.

Salary

• You will get a salary of Rs. 50,000 per month on a contract basis.
