MANIT Research Assistant and Field Investigator Recruitment 2026: Overview

Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology Bhopal (MANIT) is recruiting a Research Assistant and Field Investigator for a project in its Department of Management Studies. Funded by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), the study focuses on indigenous knowledge, climate risks and disaster resilience among the Bharia, Hill Korwa and Kamar communities of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Research Assistant tenure: The appointment is for one year under the project.
• Field Investigator tenure: The appointment is for six months under the same project.
• Early termination: Either appointment may end before its stated tenure if the work is found unsatisfactory. Keep this condition in mind when considering the project engagement.
• Travel costs: MANIT will not pay travel or daily allowances for attending the interview or joining the position.
