Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT), Bhopal is hiring a Junior Research Fellow (Project Fellow) for a research project titled "Smart Metacomposite Design for Dual-Purpose Energy Harvesting and Vibration Control". The work sits in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and is funded by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) under the Prime Minister Early Career Research Grant, sanctioned for a run of 36 months. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Appointment term: the first appointment runs for one year and is extended further on the strength of your performance, up to the completion of the project.
• Purely temporary: the post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. MANIT carries no responsibility for keeping project staff on once the project finishes or is terminated.
• No claim on institute posts: working on the project gives you no right to claim any regular or part-time appointment at MANIT later.
• Continuation: your stay on the project depends on the research output being found satisfactory.
• No TA/DA: the institute does not pay any travel or daily allowance for attending the walk-in interview.
• Equivalence of degrees: the selection committee decides degree equivalence as per MANIT rules, and its decision is final.
• Cancellation right: MANIT can cancel this recruitment at any stage without giving a reason. Canvassing in any form leads to disqualification, and no interim correspondence is entertained.

The interview is held at the Committee Room, Ground Floor, Mechanical Engineering Department, MANIT Bhopal (M.P.) - 462003, with reporting at 09:30 A.M. You may also attend online if you cannot travel to Bhopal. Candidates who report after the scheduled reporting time are not allowed to sit for the interview.

Your CV must carry the full academic record from Class 10 onwards — year of passing, university or college, discipline, marks, GATE score with year and All India Rank, work experience in the related field, contact details and a working email ID.
