KFD Hassan Forest Watcher Recruitment 2026: Overview

Karnataka Forest Department (KFD), Hassan Circle has extended the application window for its Forest Watcher Group D direct recruitment. The recruitment includes regular and backlog openings within Hassan Circle. The latest amendment changes the application schedule because of technical issues in the recruitment process, while keeping the original notification’s other conditions in force.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Original conditions continue: The Hassan amendment changes the schedule under the application-method section. It expressly leaves the remaining provisions of the original notification unchanged, so read the amendment together with that notice.
• One registration: The department’s recruitment FAQ allows only one registration for each applicant. Your name, birth date, gender and mobile number are required when you register.
• One circle: You may choose one recruitment region and only one circle within it. If you choose Hassan, you cannot use the same recruitment exercise to apply for another circle as well.
• Category choice: The special Local Forest Dwelling Tribes reservation applies only to the circles and wildlife units listed in the official FAQ. Hassan does not appear in that list.
• Project-displaced quota: The FAQ limits this category to Nagarahole Tiger Reserve, Bandipur Tiger Reserve and Belagavi divisions. It does not list Hassan Circle for this quota.
• Editing and electronic signature: The general portal FAQ allows region, circle and gender changes before electronic signing, and a one-time birth-date correction. The newer Hassan amendment also announces a correction window; check the options provided on the portal during that window.

Application Submission Notes

• Mobile access: Registration uses a one-time password sent to your mobile number. Keep that number available, since the portal also sends your registration ID by text message.
• Recovering your ID: If you lose the registration message, the portal’s recovery option uses the registered mobile number and birth date. This avoids creating a second registration.
• Payment status: The official FAQ says to wait until the next day if a successful payment still shows as processing. Do not pay again unless the payment fails or the bank or payment provider returns the money.
• Payment help: If a payment-status problem continues, email aranyarecruitment@gmail.com with your registration number, birth date and payment proof. This address is for support.
• Portal errors: The department says heavy traffic may cause server errors. Its guidance is to wait briefly and try again.
