Service Conditions and Caveats

• Ad-hoc tenure: The first appointment lasts 89 days. Further periods of 89 days are possible, but the engagement may end when a regular Senior Resident fills the post.
• Overall limit: The notice states a maximum of 3+1 years of senior residency under the applicable scheme. You must disclose your earlier residency service in the undertaking.
• Full-time service: Private practice of any kind is prohibited. Hospital rules and the Governing Council's orders govern the appointment.
• Reserved-category appointments: These remain provisional until the hospital checks the relevant claims. OBC reservation is restricted to Delhi OBC applicants, and the non-creamy-layer certificate must meet the notice's recent-issue condition.
• Horizontal reservation: The notice provides reservation for persons with disabilities across the advertised categories under the applicable rules.
• Short substitute engagement: If a suitable applicant in a reserved category is unavailable, the hospital may consider another suitable applicant irrespective of category for no more than 44 days.
• Travel and conduct: No TA/DA is payable for attending. Attempts to influence the recruitment can lead to disqualification.
• Changes: JSSHS may change the posts, withdraw the process or reject applications. It will publish any corrigendum on the hospital and Delhi health department websites.
