ITDA Gumla TGT PRT Recruitment 2026: Overview

Integrated Tribal Development Agency, Gumla (ITDA) is engaging part-time teachers for residential schools run by the Welfare Department in Gumla district. The drive covers Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) and Primary Teacher (PRT) roles through a temporary service-procurement arrangement. It is intended to meet teaching needs while the department completes its teacher appointment process.

Posts and Disciplines

• Graduate-trained teachers: Subject teaching is needed at residential high schools in Navdiha, Chapatoli, Jobhipat, Sakhua Pani and Kandra Pat. The school-wise list includes Hindi, Science, English, Sanskrit, History, Physical Education, Geography and Mathematics.
• Matric-trained teachers: Openings are listed at the residential schools in Navdiha, Chapatoli, Jobhipat and Sakhua Pani, and at the residential middle schools in Dokapat and Chaurapat.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Initial engagement: The arrangement runs for 6 months. If the department has not completed its teacher appointment process, it may use the selected teachers' services for another 6 months, with a total limit of 1 year.
• Local preference: The committee will first prefer suitable applicants from the block where the residential school is located. If suitable applicants are unavailable there, it will consider applicants at district level.
• Home district: You must have Gumla as your home district. Keep this condition in mind when deciding whether to apply.
• Preference and reservation: The notice gives preference to SC, ST, backward-class and women teachers from the relevant block or district, and to people who know the local language. Government reservation rules will apply.
• Work arrangement: You will work under an agreement. The post cannot be transferred, and the school will not provide accommodation or leave entitlement under this arrangement.
• Ending the engagement: Breaching the agreement or unsatisfactory work can lead to immediate termination without advance notice. This temporary arrangement gives you no claim to regularisation or other future appointment rights.
• School needs: Selection will depend on the subjects required by the schools. The agency may increase or reduce the notified openings.

The notice requires the application in its prescribed typed format. Incomplete applications and those received after the cutoff will not be considered, so allow enough time for postal delivery.
