IITM Program Manager Recruitment 2026: Overview

Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM) is recruiting a Program Manager for the Gopalakrishnan-Deshpande Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (GDC). This contractual appointment is based at the centre’s office on the Chennai campus, with Prof. Krishnan Balasubramanian of Mechanical Engineering as coordinator.

GDC helps university faculty, researchers and students turn research into startups through its Lab to Market mission. The opening supports the expansion of I-NCUBATE and other programmes through partnerships with universities, industry and government across more than 150 colleges.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Contract term: The initial appointment lasts one year. An extension depends on your performance; completing the term does not give you a right to another contract or a permanent institute post.
