Service Conditions and Caveats

• Supervise the animal facility and its daily administration.
• Examine animals, assess health and hygiene, diagnose problems and apply CPCSEA guidelines.

• Train staff and students in animal housing, breeding and hygiene.
• Train staff and students in injections, intubation, minor survival surgery and sample collection.
• Supervise BSL-2 experiments with faculty, staff and students.
• Help organise Institutional Animal Ethics Committee (IAEC) meetings and report facility performance to its chairpersons.
