IISER Pune Research Assistant Recruitment 2026 - CARE Project

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Pune (IISER Pune), an Institute of National Importance established in 2006 under the Ministry of Education, has announced recruitment for 1 Research Assistant post. This position falls under the privately-funded CARE: Communicating Action and Resilience for Environmental Health project (Project Code: 33824737). Who Can Apply?

• Consolidated monthly salary: Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 40,000

Selection Process

• Conduct interviews and case studies on communities affected by pollution and climate change to generate evidence that shapes environmental policy and practice.
• Engage with community networks, schools, environmental groups, and public healthcare stakeholders across Chhattisgarh.
• Carry out community-based environmental monitoring activities and field research as directed by the Project Investigator.
• Analyse collected data using qualitative and quantitative methods and prepare comprehensive reports.
• Assist in literature reviews and archival research to support the project's knowledge base.
• Work collaboratively with the project team to drive project objectives and ensure measurable impact.
• Prepare technical and narrative documentation including progress reports and research summaries.
• Travel within Chhattisgarh as required by the project for field visits and stakeholder meetings.
