Indian Institute of Information Technology Kota (IIIT Kota) has released a notification under Advt. No. IIITK/2026-27/MO/01 (Contract) for 2 Medical Officer posts on a contract basis. The contract is for 1 year and can be extended by another year based on satisfactory performance. Selection is through a walk-in interview at the IIIT Kota campus, and the Institute may also hold a selection test depending on the number of applicants. MBBS doctors, including freshers, can apply.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You need an MBBS degree (or an equivalent qualification listed in the schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956).
• Registration: You must be registered in a State Medical Register or the Indian Medical Register.
• Preferred: A Postgraduate qualification, preferably MD in General Medicine, is desirable.

All qualifications, experience, and age will be counted as on 25 May 2026.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 70 years (as on 25 May 2026).

Salary

• Consolidated pay of Rs. 56,700 per month (or at par with the Rajasthan Government rate for Medical Officers).
• You also get rent-free accommodation in Type-III residential staff quarters.
• There is no annual increment during the contract. You get paid leave of 1.5 days for each completed month of service.

Selection Process (Walk-in Interview)

Selection is done as follows:

1. Walk-in Interview: Attend on 25 May 2026 at 9:00 AM in the Board Room of IIIT Kota.
2. Selection Test (if needed): The Institute may hold a test along with the interview depending on the number of applicants.
3. Document Verification: Bring original documents with two sets of self-attested photocopies.

No TA/DA is paid for attending the selection process.
