ICAR-Central Rice Research Institute (ICAR-CRRI) is recruiting an Agricultural Field Operator (AFO) for its rice crop-protection project at Cuttack, Odisha. The project, EAP-484, evaluates Falcon (GWN4055+GWN12056) against rice sheath blight and blast diseases. This is a temporary project engagement, with the place of posting and the walk-in venue both at the institute.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Project-linked tenure: The engagement runs up to 31 March 2027 or until the project finishes, whichever comes first. The appointment ends automatically when the scheme or project expires, or when the period in your engagement offer ends, whichever is earlier.
• No absorption claim: This engagement does not give you a right to a regular position at ICAR-CRRI or elsewhere in ICAR. Consider it a time-bound opportunity attached to the named project.
• Recruitment changes: The Director can increase or reduce the number of positions or cancel the recruitment. The Director’s decision will be final on matters connected with the recruitment.
• Travel expenses: No travel or daily allowance will be paid for attending the interview. You will need to arrange your journey to the institute yourself.
• Conduct: Trying to influence the recruitment through canvassing can lead to disqualification. Keep all communication about your candidature within the official process.
