This contractual role provides medical support within the institute, with possible visits to field units inside the city limits. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Tenure: The initial contract runs for one year. Extensions depend on performance, institutional need and approval, and the total engagement cannot exceed three years.

• Employment status: The contract gives no right to regular appointment, absorption or continued service. It remains a part-time arrangement throughout the engagement.

• Ending the contract: Either side may end the engagement with one month's notice or payment in place of that notice.
• Confidentiality: You must protect patient records and official information. The institute's discipline rules and professional ethics apply to the engagement.
• Other professional work: Disclose any existing practice or consultancy and avoid conflicts of interest. Private practice and unrelated professional work are not allowed inside the institute.
• Clinical facilities: The institute may allow use of its medical room and essential equipment. Consultation serves employees and their dependents, pensioners, research personnel, students and other covered groups who do not have Employees' State Insurance Corporation or similar medical benefits.
• Emergency support: The notice provides for assistance during health emergencies. In urgent situations, consultation or treatment may also be needed at your own clinic or residence outside the assigned schedule.
• Accountability: You report to the designated Nodal Officer or Medical Supervisor. Proven medical negligence or professional misconduct remains your responsibility, and you must arrange your own personal insurance.
• Appointment conditions: The institute may ask you to sign an undertaking or indemnity bond accepting the engagement terms. It can amend or withdraw conditions with competent approval, and legal disputes fall under Mumbai courts.
