GGSIPU Post Doctoral Fellow Recruitment 2026: Overview

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) is offering a Post Doctoral Fellowship at its University School of Information, Communication & Technology in Dwarka, Delhi. The research engagement comes under the Visvesvaraya PhD Scheme for Electronics & IT: Phase II, sanctioned by Digital India Corporation under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Defined tenure: The fellowship runs for one year. The scheme does not allow support beyond that period. Keep this limit in mind when deciding the scope of your proposed research.
• Full-time commitment: This is a temporary, non-transferable fellowship that can be held only in India. It is tied to the scheme and the university research setting described in the notice.
• Existing research appointments: If you hold a temporary academic or research position and are selected, you must leave that role to take up this fellowship. You cannot receive another fellowship during the award period.
• Research focus: Your proposal should connect its objectives, expected outcomes and deliverables clearly. The call gives particular attention to industry-specific problems and active links with industry.
• Declaration and conduct: You must take responsibility for the accuracy of your application and follow university discipline. False or concealed information can lead to action and loss of the fellowship.
• Admission decisions: The USICT fellowship admission committee has the final say on admission. Disputes relating to the fellowship fall under the courts in Delhi.
