GBPUAT Associate Professor Recruitment 2026: Overview

Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology (GBPUAT) is recruiting Associate Professors through direct recruitment across its colleges. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Posting flexibility: Your appointment can be at any university campus, research centre or Krishi Vigyan Kendra according to its needs. You should not assume that every position will remain at the main Pantnagar campus.
• State reservation: Reserved-category and horizontal-reservation benefits are limited to permanent residents of Uttarakhand under the state rules. Applicants from other states are considered under the unreserved category.
• Horizontal reservation: If a suitable applicant is unavailable for a horizontal slot, the university may fill it from the original category, subject to the notice’s exception for disability reservation. Vacant posts may be advertised again.
• Earlier project service: If you currently work under a project or Krishi Vigyan Kendra, that earlier service will not count for service benefits after appointment to these posts.
• Travel: The university will not pay travel or daily allowance for attending its interview or test. Plan your visit with this condition in mind.
• Recruitment discretion: The university may leave some or all advertised posts unfilled. False or concealed information can lead to cancellation or termination even after appointment.
