The Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), under the Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India, has released Advertisement No. 02/2026 for engaging a Part-Time Homeopathy Physician at ESIC Medical College & Hospital in Naroda-Bapunagar, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. This is a contractual position for 1 year, which can be extended for another year based on your performance and requirements.

Who Can Apply?

Essential Qualification

• Degree in Homeopathy from a recognized University, Statutory State Board/Council, or equivalent recognized under the Homeopathy Central Council Act, 1973
• Enrollment on the Central Register of Homeopathy or State Register of Homeopathy

Other Requirements

• If you are currently working in any Government or Private Hospital/Institute, you must bring a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from your department

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 64 years as on the date of interview (10 April 2026)
• Age relaxation is available for reserved categories as per Government of India rules

Salary

• Monthly Salary: Rs. 50,000/- per month
• Working Hours: 4 hours per day, 6 days a week (part-time)
• No other allowances are provided
• No service benefits like PF, Pension, Gratuity, Medical Allowance, Seniority, Promotion, or Leave are available

Application Fee

• General/OBC: Rs. 300/- (Demand Draft in favour of "ESI Fund Account No. 1", non-refundable)
• SC/ST/Female/PwD: No fee (exempted)

Selection Process

1. Interview — Selection is based on your performance in the walk-in interview
2. Screening Test — May be conducted if the number of candidates is high
3. Document Verification — Original documents will be checked at the time of interview

After selection, you will need to pay Rs. 30,000/- as a security deposit and sign a contract agreement on Rs. 300/- stamp paper.

• Attend to patients at the ESIC dispensary and provide homeopathic treatment as per standard protocols

• Follow all medical guidelines and standard operating procedures set by ESIC
• Assist in health awareness programs and preventive care activities as directed
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on clinical response
• Prepare reports and submit them to the supervising authority regularly
