Station HQ (ECHS Cell), Ludhiana, under the Ministry of Defence, has issued Employment Notice 1 to fill Medical, Para-Medical and Non-Medical contractual posts — including Dental Hygienist, Pharmacist, Lab Technician, Clerk/Data Entry Operator, Driver, Peon, Safaiwala and Chowkidar — at its Polyclinics in Ludhiana, Jagraon, Doraha and Samrala. Ex-servicemen get preference in selection. Selected candidates sign a one-year contract (Ex-servicemen) or an eleven-month contract (civil candidates), followed by 10 days of unpaid On Job Training (OJT) before the contract is signed.

ECHS is run by the Ministry of Defence to provide cashless outpatient and inpatient healthcare to ex-servicemen, war widows and their dependents through a network of Polyclinics across India. These contractual posts help staff the Ludhiana-area Polyclinics with medical, para-medical and support staff.

Who Can Apply?

Pharmacist (Ludhiana & Samrala)

• Qualification: B.Pharmacy from a recognized institute, OR 10+2 with Science stream plus a Pharmacy diploma from an institute recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India
• Registration: Registered as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948
• Experience: Minimum 3 years' work experience
• Fixed Remuneration: Rs. 36,500 per month

Driver

• Qualification: Valid driving licence
• Experience: Minimum 5 years' work experience

Dental Hygienist, Lab Technician, Clerk/DEO, Peon, Safaiwala, Chowkidar

Selection Process

The selection will be done in these steps:

1. Written Test: Conducted at Station HQ (ECHS Cell), Ludhiana. Date and time will be intimated to eligible applicants by email or telephone.
2. Interview: Held on the same day/venue as the written test. No TA/DA is admissible for appearing.
3. Document Verification: You must bring all original documents (Experience, Matric, Degree/Diploma, Character, Aadhar, PAN, Medical Fitness Certificate, and for Ex-servicemen, Record of Service and PPO & Discharge Book) at the time of the interview.

How to Apply

3. Attach self-attested photocopies of your Experience Certificate, Matric Certificate, Degree/Diploma, Character Certificate, Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Medical Fitness Certificate (signed by SEMO/CMO), and (for Ex-servicemen) Record of Service and PPO & Discharge Book.
4. Submit three (triplicate) copies of your application to OIC, Station HQ (ECHS Cell), Ludhiana by 14 August 2026 (5:00 PM). Applications received after this time will not be accepted.
5. Bring all original documents with you at the time of the interview.
