Kerala CSEB Junior Clerk Recruitment 2026 - 11 Posts

Kerala State Co-operative Service Examination Board (CSEB) has released Notification No. 19/2026 dated 30 May 2026 for Junior Clerk posts. The recruitment is for multiple co-operative societies and banks in Kerala, and the appointing authority will be the concerned society or bank. Selection will be through an OMR written exam and interview.

This notice is specifically for Junior Clerk in Class II to Class VII banks. You can apply for more than one society or bank in the same notification by paying the required additional fee.

Who Can Apply?

  • Basic qualification: You must have passed SSLC or an equivalent exam.
  • Co-operative training: You need the Subordinate Personal Co-operative Training Course, also known as Junior Diploma in Co-operation (JDC).
  • Kasaragod equivalence: For appointments in Kasaragod district, GDC/DCM from Karnataka State Co-operative Federation or JDC from Kerala State Co-operative Union is treated as equivalent.
  • Alternative qualification: You can also apply with B.Com with Co-operation as an optional subject, or any recognised degree plus Higher Diploma in Co-operation such as HDC, HDC & BM, HDCM, or B.Sc Co-operation and Banking from Kerala Agricultural University.
  • Deadline rule: You must have the required qualification before the last date, 30 June 2026.

Age Limit

  • You must be at least 18 years old as on 01 January 2026.
  • Maximum age is 40 years as on 01 January 2026.
  • SC/ST: Upper age relaxation of 5 years.
  • OBC / Ex-servicemen / EWS: Upper age relaxation of 3 years.
  • PwD: Upper age relaxation of 10 years for persons with 40% or more disability.

Salary

  • Lowest pay scale: Rs. 12,740 to Rs. 34,320 per month.
  • Highest pay scale: Rs. 19,450 to Rs. 51,650 per month.
  • Salary varies by the co-operative society or bank where you are appointed.
  • Other service benefits will follow the rules of the concerned co-operative society or bank.

Application Fee

  • General and age-relaxation categories: Rs. 150 for one society/bank, plus Rs. 50 for each additional society/bank.
  • SC/ST: Rs. 50 for one society/bank, plus Rs. 50 for each additional society/bank.
  • GST: You must also pay 18% GST along with the exam fee.
  • Payment mode: Online payment through the CSEB application portal.

Selection Process

The selection process has two main stages followed by ranking and appointment by the concerned society or bank.

  1. OMR Written Exam: CSEB will conduct an exam with 100 questions, each carrying 1 mark.
  2. Interview: The concerned society or bank will conduct the interview for candidates included in the qualified list. The interview carries 20 marks.
  3. Rank List: CSEB will prepare the rank list based on the written exam and interview process.
  4. Document Verification: Your qualification, age, reservation, fee, and other certificates will be checked before appointment.

For the interview, 4 marks are given for attending, and the remaining 16 marks are based on interview performance.

  2. Complete One Time Registration if you have not registered earlier.
  3. Log in to your profile and select Notification 19/2026 - Junior Clerk.
  4. Choose the society or bank you want to apply for and fill in the online form.
  5. Pay the application fee and 18% GST online.
  6. Submit the form before 30 June 2026.
  7. After submission, take a printout from My Application and keep it safely.

CSEB clearly states that postal applications will not be accepted. Apply only through the online portal after reading the official notification.

  • Support audit, verification, and record-checking work when required
