Kerala CSEB Data Entry Operator Recruitment 2026 - 4 Posts

Kerala State Co-operative Service Examination Board (CSEB) has issued Notification No. 21/2026 for Data Entry Operator posts in four co-operative societies and banks. This is a direct recruitment process where CSEB conducts the online written exam and the concerned co-operative institution conducts the interview. Only online applications are accepted, so you should complete One Time Registration before filling the post application.

The vacancies are spread across Thrissur, Palakkad, and Kannur districts. Each notified institution has 1 General category vacancy, and the pay scale is different for each society or bank. Who Can Apply?

Educational Qualification

• Degree: You need a degree from a recognised university.
• Data Entry Course: You must have passed a data entry course from an institution recognised by the Kerala Government or Central Government.
• Experience: You need 1 year of work experience as a Data Entry Operator in a recognised institution.

Application Readiness

• One Time Registration: If you are not registered on the CSEB portal, complete One Time Registration first.
• Existing Users: If you already have a CSEB candidate profile, login and apply through your profile.
• Multiple Societies: You can apply for more than one society or bank by paying the additional fee mentioned in the notification.

Age Limit

• You should be at least 18 years old and should not have crossed 40 years as on 01 January 2026.
• SC / ST: Upper age relaxation of 5 years is allowed.
• Other Backward Classes, Ex-servicemen, and EWS: Upper age relaxation of 3 years is allowed.
• Persons with Disabilities: Candidates with 40% or more disability get upper age relaxation of 10 years.
• Widows: Upper age relaxation of 5 years is allowed.

Salary

• Lowest notified scale: Rs. 16,420 - Rs. 42,670 per month.
• Middle notified scale: Rs. 16,890 - Rs. 43,660 per month.
• Highest notified scale: Rs. 17,360 - Rs. 44,650 per month.
• The final salary scale depends on the society or bank where you are appointed.
• Other benefits and service conditions will follow the rules of the concerned co-operative institution.

Application Fee

• General and relaxation categories: Rs. 150 for one society or bank, plus Rs. 50 for each additional society or bank.
• SC / ST: Rs. 50 for one society or bank, plus Rs. 50 for each additional society or bank.
• GST: You also need to pay 18% GST on the examination fee.
• Payment mode: Pay the fee online through the CSEB application portal.

Selection Process

The selection process has a written exam and interview. CSEB prepares the rank list based on the online exam and the interview conducted by the concerned co-operative society or bank.

1. Online Written Exam: The exam has 100 questions, with 1 mark for each question.
2. Interview: Candidates included in the society or bank list can get up to 20 marks in the interview. Attending the interview gives a minimum of 4 marks, and the remaining 16 marks depend on interview performance.
3. Rank List: CSEB prepares the rank list based on written exam and interview marks.
4. Appointment: The concerned co-operative society or bank is the appointing authority.

How to Apply

1. Go to the official CSEB candidate portal at cseb.kerala.gov.in.
2. Complete One Time Registration if you have not registered earlier.
3. Login to your candidate profile and choose Notification No. 21/2026 - Data Entry Operator.
4. Select the society or bank for which you want to apply. If applying for more than one society, check the additional fee rule.
5. Fill in your education, data entry course, experience, category, and personal details.
6. Pay the examination fee with 18% GST through the online payment option.
7. Submit the application before 30 June 2026 and keep a printout from My Application.

Do not send the application by post. The notification clearly says postal applications will not be accepted.
