Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), Bengaluru has released advertisement C-DAC/BLR/02/2026 for contractual project positions. The recruitment covers Project Associate, Project Engineer, Senior Project Engineer, Project Manager and Project Support Staff roles. Who Can Apply?

Project Associate

• Qualification: You need BE/B.Tech or equivalent degree, ME/M.Tech or equivalent degree, or a PG degree in Science, Computer Application or a relevant domain.
• Experience: Freshers can apply. Experienced candidates may get higher salary within the notified bracket.

Project Engineer

• Qualification: You need BE/B.Tech or equivalent degree with 60% marks or equivalent CGPA, a relevant PG degree in Science/Computer Application with 60% marks, ME/M.Tech, or PhD in a relevant discipline.
• Experience: The notified experience bracket is 0 to 4 years.

Senior Project Engineer and Project Manager Roles

• Qualification: You need BE/B.Tech, relevant PG degree, ME/M.Tech, or PhD in the relevant discipline as listed by C-DAC.
• Experience: Senior Project Engineer roles require 4 to 7 years. Project Manager level roles require 9 to 15 years.

Project Support Staff

• Qualification: You need graduation or post-graduation in the relevant domain.
• Experience: Graduation route needs minimum 3 years experience. Post-graduation route needs 1 year experience.

Age Limit

• Project Associate: up to 30 years for freshers and up to 45 years for experienced candidates.
• Project Engineer: up to 30 years for freshers and up to 45 years for experienced candidates.
• Senior Project Engineer / Project Lead / Module Lead: up to 40 years.
• Project Manager / Program Manager / Program Delivery Manager / Knowledge Partner: up to 56 years.
• Project Support Staff: up to 35 years.
• Reference date: age and experience are counted as on the last date of application, 20 June 2026.
• Age relaxation: SC, ST, OBC, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen and government employees get relaxation as per Government of India rules.

Salary

• Project Associate: annual CTC from Rs. 3.6 LPA to Rs. 5.04 LPA.
• Project Engineer: annual CTC from Rs. 4.49 LPA to Rs. 7.11 LPA.
• Senior Project Engineer / Project Lead / Module Lead: annual CTC from Rs. 8.49 LPA to Rs. 14 LPA.
• Project Manager level roles: annual CTC from Rs. 12.63 LPA to Rs. 22.9 LPA.
• Project Support Staff: minimum annual CTC of Rs. 3 LPA.
• Higher experience within the notified bracket may get additional increments as per C-DAC policy.

Selection Process

C-DAC will shortlist candidates after checking the online application, academic record, experience profile and other declared details.

1. Initial Screening: C-DAC will check whether you meet the minimum qualification, experience and age conditions.
2. Written Test or Skill Test, if used: C-DAC may use a written test, skill test or other selection process depending on the post and number of applications.
3. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be contacted by email for the next selection stage.
4. Document Verification: Original documents will be checked during verification or at another stage of recruitment.
