Pharmacology and Toxicology

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Nature of appointment: These are project contracts. Joining does not give you a claim to a regular appointment at NRIUMSD or CCRUM.
• Pharmaceutical Analysis tenure: The initial engagement lasts six months. An extension depends on performance, can run up to a maximum of three years, and ends with completion of the projects.
• Pharmacology and Toxicology tenure: The initial engagement also lasts six months. The competent authority may extend it based on performance, up to a maximum of two years.
• Ending the engagement: Either side may end the contract with one month’s prior notice. The notices also reserve the authority’s right to terminate the engagement when it considers this necessary.
• Benefits and travel: Provident Fund and medical-claim benefits are not available. You will not receive travel or daily allowance for attending the interview.
• Recruitment decisions: The institute can modify, postpone or withdraw the recruitment exercise. Canvassing can lead to disqualification; check the council and institute notices for announcements.
