C-DAC Thiruvananthapuram Project Staff Recruitment 2026 - 60 Posts

Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), a scientific society under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), has released advertisement CDACT/RCT/01/2026 dated 13 May 2026 for filling 60 contract-based project staff posts at its Thiruvananthapuram centre and other locations. There is no written exam - selection is through walk-in or online interview. Postings are at Thiruvananthapuram, Delhi, Raipur, Bengaluru, Patna and other project sites.

• Senior Project Engineer (SPE): 22 posts (across Raipur, Delhi, Thiruvananthapuram, Bengaluru)

Who Can Apply?

Project Manager (PM)

• Qualification: B.E./B.Tech with First Class (60% marks) OR M.E./M.Tech OR Post Graduate degree in Science/Computer Applications OR Ph.D. in relevant discipline
• Experience: Minimum 9 years of relevant post-qualification experience

Senior Project Engineer (SPE)

• Qualification: B.E./B.Tech with 60% marks in CS/IT/ECE/EEE/Instrumentation OR MCA with 60% marks
• Experience: Minimum 4 years of relevant experience

Project Engineer (PE) and Project Associate (PA)

• Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in CS/IT/ECE/EEE OR M.Sc/MCA in relevant discipline with 60% marks
• Experience: Freshers can apply for Project Engineer posts

Age Limit

• Project Manager: Up to 56 years as on 30 April 2026
• Senior Project Engineer: Up to 40 years as on 30 April 2026
• Age relaxation applies for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD as per Government of India norms

Salary

• Maximum consolidated pay up to Rs. 1,10,000 per month as per 7th CPC norms
• Project Engineer entry salary: around Rs. 37,500 per month (consolidated)
• Actual salary depends on the post, qualification and experience
• This is a contract role for 3 years or co-terminus with the project, whichever is earlier - contract can be extended based on performance

Selection Process

Selection is based on:

1. Online Registration: Submit the Google Form on the C-DAC website
2. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called
3. Walk-in or Online Interview: Held in June 2026 at C-DAC Vellayambalam, Thiruvananthapuram or at the Raipur site

There is no written exam. Selection is fully merit and interview-based.
