Selection Process

Selection is based on a merit list prepared from your educational qualifications and marks. A shortlist will be drawn up from all eligible applications, and shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview on 17 March 2026 at the Dean's Assembly Hall, HBT Medical College. You must bring original documents along with self-attested photocopies for verification at the interview.

Where to Submit Your Application

You need to submit your filled application form in person at Dr. Rustom Narsi Cooper Hospital, Room No. 65, D Wing, Cash Section (Rokhpal Vibhag), First Floor, Juhu, Mumbai - 400056. The office accepts applications between 10:30 AM and 1:30 PM on working days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays). Remember to pay the application fee of Rs. 934 at the same office or online before submitting your form.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical care to patients at Cooper Hospital and HBT Medical College departments
  • Attend to inpatient and outpatient duties as assigned by the department head
  • Maintain daily biometric attendance records during the contract period
  • Follow all rules and regulations of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation
  • Work in shifts as required by the hospital administration

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Qualification

MBBS from a recognized university, registered with Maharashtra Medical Council, with 6 months house post or 1 year residency experience. Marathi proficiency and computer course (CCC/MSCIT/GECIT) required.

Preferred Qualification

MD degree for Assistant Medical Officer post (Rs. 1,00,000/month salary)
