Babu Jagjivan Ram Memorial Hospital (BJRMH), under the Government of NCT of Delhi, has released a walk-in notice for 6 Junior Resident (MBBS) posts on an ad-hoc basis. The appointment is for 89 days or until regular Resident Doctors are recruited by the centralized committee, whichever is earlier. Selection is based purely on merit through a walk-in interview — there is no written exam. Fresh MBBS graduates who have completed their internship can attend.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You must have an MBBS degree from a recognised University or Institute, and you must not have completed one year of Junior Residency in any Government Hospital.
• DMC Registration: You must be registered with the Delhi Medical Council. Candidates without a DMC registration number will not be allowed for the walk-in interview.
• Internship: Candidates who completed their compulsory rotating internship on or before 28 May 2024 are not eligible.
• Candidates from all categories may appear for the interview.

Age Limit

• General: maximum 30 years as on 28 May 2026
• OBC: maximum 33 years (OBC certificate issued by Govt. of NCT of Delhi only will be considered)
• SC / ST: maximum 35 years
• Relaxation: If fresh candidates are not available, the upper age limit can be relaxed to 40 years as per the relaxation rules.

Salary

• You will get a basic pay of Rs. 56,100 per month under Pay Matrix Level 10 of the 7th Central Pay Commission.
• You will also get other admissible allowances as per Government rules.

Application Fee

• All candidates: No fee. There is no fee for appearing in the interview.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is done in these steps:

1. Walk-In Interview: Posts are filled strictly on merit based on the walk-in interview held on 29 May 2026. Registration is between 10:00 AM and 12:00 Noon.
2. Document Verification: Your educational qualification, age, caste, DMC registration and internship completion certificates will be checked.
3. Medical Fitness: The appointment is subject to your medical fitness.

How to Apply

1. Fill the application form for the post of Junior Resident (MBBS) given in the notification.
2. Reach the Administrative Block of BJRMH, Jahangir Puri, Delhi-110033 on 29 May 2026.
3. Register for the walk-in between 10:00 AM and 12:00 Noon.
4. Bring self-attested photocopies of your 10th certificate (date of birth), DMC registration, all marksheets, internship completion certificate, attempt certificate, caste certificate (if applicable), PH certificate (if applicable) and address proof.
5. The interview is held between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM.

Selected candidates must join within 5 days of the offer letter, failing which the offer is automatically cancelled.
